After suffering through last years (2005) brutal October we finally caught a break.

Etan with his first false albacore

The albies stayed around till mid-month.

With lots of days to fish the bass stayed up on top feeding on the ever present bay anchovies.

Take a close look

The last week saw acres of fish as far west as "town" and Napeague.

Big gorilla blues mixed in making it necessary to add a trace of wire which did not deter the striper bite.
