Mediocre Fall Run in Montauk

Montauk showed it's tough side with lots of wind and just fair bass fishing this season. Despite the abundance of bait, fishing remained difficult. The water temps were abnormally high throughout September and the bass just never got going until the last week of October.
False albacore (Little Tunny) fished pretty well until the second week of October. Even bluefishing was slow. Obviously we have been spoiled in recent years.
